This weekend we were very brave and (despite dire predictions not to travel) we went to Hook to see the Hook Bowden branch. typically the drive was good, snow pushed to the sides of the road, but the roads well cleared and gritted, phew.
The visit was a quick one, just the overnight stop but it was really great to see all of the Bowdens doing well. I know i am biased but the kids are such a delight and they are "coming on" very quickly now. They get on great together and are really good friends. They have bought a Nintendo Wii and that was much played on. One of the good things about this game is that all generations can play together, that is unusual with computer games. Me and Jenny may get one also. We had a quick chilly walk as you can see from the photos, saw City win a scrappy game, saw England get slaughtered at cricket, so it wasn't all good news. Busy these next few weekends, with a trip to Cardiff and then me and Liz have an anniversary event and we are going to Chester for a night out and a good time, so more blogs to come....

Good one this and yes good to get some positive feedback about the kids
Kids really are delightful, these winter photos are in stark contrast to your beach ones.
Cheers Andy
